Guardian Princesses Intern 2018-2020

“I had the wonderful privilege of being an intern for the Guardian Princesses Alliance (GPA) as an undergraduate. Within the Guardian Princesses Alliance, I found sorority, support, and encouragement. Not only did GPA provide a safe space for me during my undergraduate career, it gave me an outlet to be creative and make meaningful change within the community that I love and care about deeply. Upon completing my degree, I had the opportunity to work with the S.T.R.O.N.G. Edutainment team in a close setting. At S.T.R.O.N.G., I was treated as an equal and encouraged to let my creativity soar. Having the experience of working as a professional creative and designer with this incredible team has been extremely affirming and has given me the foundation and confidence to move forward with my career. I was initially drawn to S.T.R.O.N.G Edutainment for their dynamic Guardian Princesses, but I have become a life-long supporter of the non-profit for their commitment to radical compassion and empowerment for all.”
